Adhan plays the full call to prayer when Noor is open; in the background your phone's notification sound is used.

Setup & troubleshooting

Install Noor to your home screen

Chrome: menu ⋮ → Install app / Add to Home screen. iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen. Installed apps get alerts far more reliably.

Keep notifications allowed

If alerts stop, open Site settings (tap the icon left of the address) → Notifications → Allow. On Android also check Settings → Apps → Chrome/Noor → Notifications.

Turn off battery optimisation

Settings → Apps → Chrome (or Noor) → Battery → Unrestricted. On Samsung, also remove it from “Sleeping apps”.

Check Do Not Disturb

Allow Noor as an exception if you use Do Not Disturb or bedtime mode, so Fajr can still reach you.
