Noor
Prayer times, Quran, Qibla & more
Version 0.1.0
Developed by Khuram Imtiaz
Noor means light. It's a calm companion for Muslims: accurate prayer times with adhan, the Holy Qur'an with translations and recitations, the Qibla, duas and adhkar, hadith, the Hijri calendar, zakat, nearby mosques and a kind community — made with care for the Ummah, and free for everyone. The website has no ads; in the Android app a few small ads keep Noor running, and you can remove them any time.
Religious content comes from established, verifiable sources and is never altered. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
Our privacy promise
What we will and won't do with your data
No ads on the web
The website shows no ads. The Android app has a small, optional banner on a few browsing screens.
No trackers of our own
No analytics in Noor. Android ads come from Google AdMob, which uses your advertising ID.
Never sold
We don't sell or share your data. Period.
Local-first
Your data lives on your device by default.
Optional sync
Accounts are optional and deletable anytime.
Free for everyone
Every feature is free. Removing ads in the app is optional.
What leaves your device: city searches and your location (only when you ask us to find it) go to our location providers to name your city; if you sign in, your settings and personal data sync to your account; community posts are public; Ask Noor questions are sent to our AI provider to generate an answer and aren't linked to your account. In the Android app, while ads are shown, Google AdMob receives your advertising ID and basic device information to serve them, and purchases (removing ads, tips) are handled by Google Play.
You can export, import or erase your data at any time in Settings → Data & privacy. The full details are in our privacy policy.
